Gorgeous flowers

These gorgeous flowers arrived today from Denis Grabill and the friends at Black Oak Artists. Thank you, I love them, they are so cheery!

Thank you also to everyone for the overwhelmingly beautiful responses of encouragement and compassion. I am deeply moved. Rob started reading the messages to me while I was resting... I had to sit up to wipe away the tears. It seems the world is filled with kindred spirits, friends, fans, and fellow musicians, who truly understand, and who are helping me feel optimistic. I can't believe all the people who have also endured broken bones and other traumas- if you made it through, I feel I can too. I'm so glad you will be there when I get back!

I had my knee bandage removed yesterday at the doctor's office, but I'll spare you the ugly photos. He said the multi-color craziness was all normal, and progressing as expected. Re-wrapped the bandage, more appointments upcoming.
