1. A brand new music video released today!! Watch Hi-Heel Sneakers official music video NOW! Yes, Rob "aka Spiderman/The Landlord" Davis, makes a cameo appearance by popular demand. Hint: "cause we're going out tonight!" (Quote from lyrics of Hi-Heel Sneakers, originally recorded by Tommy Tucker).
2. The new RV (the mini tour bus)! is at the repair shop with the list of 53 problems and issues all documented with videos and detailed written records. Rob shows up at the shop regularly to monitor the progress. The goal- to get the mini bus into excellent shape and back on the road.
3. Another HUGE thank you to our GiveSendGo campaigndonators- new donation total $3,855. We had to put down a $20,000 deposit at the time of purchase, and your generous gifts go towards offsetting that expense. Gratitude and appreciation! If all goes well and the vehicle gets fully repaired, we will have 20 years of monthly payments- would love, love, love to reduce or eliminate that obligation. If you are in the position to do so and are so inclined, we would still like to reach our stated goal of $40,000... another $36,145 to go. We're very optimistic!
4. Last but not least, I will soon be posting a video recorded on the tour explaining why I call it "The Bandaid Tour." I don't seem to have a way of hiding whatever reality is affecting my life, so given that I had a bandaid on my nose for the entire tour, and even during the video, I think the best policy is full disclosure. The remnant of the skin cancer I have been dealing with for a number of years is improving, but not entirely invisible yet, and whenever I have to put a bandaid on it, it flares up. My doctor advised me not to put a bandaid on it- however being in public, in videos and on camera requires at least the minimal attempt at makeup. I have never worn any makeup- it's just not me (exception- professional photo shoots)- thus at this point the bandaid is my "minimal makeup" and is what seems to work best. So this situation is slowly improving, with the above set-backs and all- but- REALITY SHOW is my thing... over-sharing. So instead of hiding at home, I'm out there, bandaid and all. Maybe this Bandaid Video will be special in some unconventional way.
